Junior Data Scientist in the Labor Market Department

• 15 months fixed-term working contract at LISER
• Full-time, 40 hours/week

Your Role

In this context, the successful candidate will have the following missions:

• Data cleaning and preprocessing ;
• Big data technologies to manage large-scale data efficiently ;
• Statistical analysis on policy-relevant economic and societal challenges ;
• Data visualization for economic insights including dashboards ;
• Collaboration with economists and other social scientists in a team ;
• Staying up-to-date with developments in data science tools and methods ;
• Reporting and presentation of technical expertise and research findings in the data science community.

Your Profile

• Master in Data Science or related fields ;
• Experience with working with HPC models and LLMs ;
• Prior experience in working with economists and social scientists ;
• Good communication skills ;
• Team working ;
• Adaptability and willingness to engage in lifelong learning ;
• Excellent English skills in speaking and writing.
