LISER invites qualified and motivated applications for this exciting mission dedicated to the to the upgrading/finalization of an ERP solution to enable impactful and efficient business operations in the research sector and to support related data-driven business decision-making. The selected candidate will be assigned to the under the direct leadership of the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer.
Your mission
- Lead the upgrade and finalisation of LISER’s ERP solution, ensuring it is fully aligned with the operational needs and regulatory context of the research sector;
- Optimize and streamline end-to-end business processes (finance, procurement, project management, reporting) to improve efficiency, transparency, and scalability;
- Enable reliable, high-quality data flows and analytics, supporting evidence-based, data-driven business and strategic decision-making;
- Ensure stakeholder alignment and knowledge transfer, delivering a stable and well-documented solution that can be sustainably operated.
Your profile
- Master degree in Economics or a related discipline;
- Proven experience in designing, upgrading, or integrating data warehouses, including data modeling, data quality management, and ensuring consistency between ERP systems and analytical layers;
- Strong ability to transform raw operational and financial data into meaningful KPIs, dashboards, and reports that support management oversight, performance monitoring, and strategic decision-making in a research-driven context;
- Hands-on experience working with ERP platforms and analytics tools within broader digital transformation initiatives, ensuring technical solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives;
- Demonstrated capability to support organizations through change by engaging stakeholders, managing resistance, and facilitating adoption of new systems, processes, and data-driven ways of working;
- Ability to bridge technical teams and business users, translating complex data concepts into clear, actionable insights and ensuring business requirements are accurately reflected in technical solutions;
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams (IT, finance, research, management), build trust, and drive alignment around shared goals;
- Fluency in English and French. Knowledge of German or Luxembourgish is considered as an asset.
