 an Accounting Assistant (f/m)

• 12-month fixed-term contract, part-time (20 hours/week)
• Start date : as soon as possible
• Location : Belval

To strengthen its existing team, the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) is looking for an Accounting Assistant (m/f) for an immediate start.

Your missions

• Register supplier invoices and credit notes in the accounting system;
• Manage supplier relationships (creation, management, payments);
• Manage business travel expense reimbursements, in collaboration with the relevant internal teams;
• Prepare payment files and track payments and reimbursements;
• Periodically review outstanding balances (aging balance) for suppliers;
• Participate in other accounting department tasks as needed.

Your profile

• Baccalaureate, preferably in accounting or equivalent;
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a finance/accounting department;
• Knowledge of accounting principles;
• Experience in accounts payable;
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office and accounting software (experience with an ERP and/or ODOO is an asset);
• Demonstrate rigor, reliability, and confidentiality;
• Be versatile and able to work in a team;
• Have a strong sense of prioritisation in a constantly evolving environment;
• Fluency in English and French is essential; knowledge of German or Luxembourgish is an advantage.
